May I recommend this album, largely inspired by this very painting:
I came here to make the same comment. Anyway, I saw an interview with the guitarist last year and he said they were working on a new album. Hopefully they come through with that.
Hope it’s better than the last few albums.
I dug Pariah, but Chuckles was a true abomination. I kind of wish that album could be wiped from existence.
This album is where I learned that sleep paralysis is a thing, and that other people also experience it.
I was a very stoned high-schooler in the back of someone’s shit car when they put this album on and I immediately thought my “night terrors” were suddenly happening in the middle of the day now. The joy when I realized it was the music blew my tiny little mind.
LOVED this album. Enjoyed the one after it. And then they kind of fell off, as a band.
Yeah, I liked some tracks on Catch Without Arms, but not the majority. “Jamais Vu” And “The Tanbark Is Hot Lava” are bangers, though.
Love the use of “caused”.
