What you’re actually witnessing here is the first ‘karma farmer’ in this version of TIL. He’s just going to reddit TIL and reposting content from there. He probably hasn’t checked a single site or anything that he’s submitting.

Fun fact: there’s no karma to farm on Kbin - I’m adding content to Kbin to make it a fun, thoughtful place to be. If I posted things as articles - there might be some karma involved, IDK. But I post links, no karma to get. See, friend? No one’s out here trying to game the system.

karma/reputation it’s the same thing. Exactly what fun do you think you’re providing by rehashing the same topics that get posted weekly over at Reddit?

Everybody contributes something to Kbin. I’m contributing the articles, and you’re contributing the arguments.

That’s interesting. I wonder if they’d keep that rule if weed was decriminalized on a national level. It’d be a good excuse for them to walk it back without looking like they’re being more lenient.

It’s not just the FBI. All federal jobs drug test, and all of them are having trouble getting enough candidates right now. The “hackers for the FBI” thing just makes a good headline.

This includes relatively innocuous things like the USPS or NOAA.
