I swear Nintendo placed many rocks in places that should be a Korok, but weren’t, just to troll us all as they know we will be checking anything that looks out of place for them. I know I’ve been caught by the rock that is just a rock.
Some trees, too. Some look so obvious but only have a nest in them. No pot to shoot and no rock to pick up. It’s just a big tree, slightly but noticeable separated.
I checked back in BotW, half of them actually had a Korok there so I guess they tried to not use any position twice.
