The Gaza aid pier the US has constructed, at the cost of 320 million (!!!) dollars, has fallen apart.

The really crazy part is that the article states that the pier was meant to only withstand waves of 3 feet or less.

This is reality.

But this is what is wrong with US government spending, especially the defense department.

If we have to spend 320 million dollars on a temporary pier that is only designed to withstand waves of 3 feet or less… Then falls apart…

This is worrying on so many levels… Fiscally, militarily, logistically…

I was just absolutely flabbergasted by this article.
