Users will be required to submit documentation proving they are legally single and sign a letter stating they are willing to get married.
Ah yes, it’s definitely not a crushing economic system that wants to turn everyone in to mindless worker drones with no life of their own, and a culture that idolizes workaholics… it’s meeting people that’s the problem! Yep, this’ll suuuuure change something!
I mean it’s probably better than the current dating apps built by perverse incentives. What private dating apps want is to string you along for money. Even if this isn’t the solution to the problem, I think their incentives are more honest.
Yea, I’d MUCH rather use one that’s actually interested in me finding someone compatible and not keeping me swimming up stream. Though still kinda’ have to have the free time, money, and willpower to date.
Oh surely all the existing results from the current implementations of dating apps would dissuade them… then again…
Well, private apps have the goal of keeping you as a client, you getting married and making kids doesn’t help with that. I’m not sure if the efforts from the Japanese government are worth the squeeze with this particular idea but I can see how a public app would have different objectives and thus potentially different results.
I’m really looking forward to their birth rate skyrocketing.
