      Yup. People who don’t see the difference between the two are not effected by the difference between the two. I also understand this is for both the negative and positive attributes of each administration.

      For Palestinians, I can absolutely sympathize that they see Biden supplying weapons to Israel as much as a Trump doing so. That shouldn’t be ignored.

      But on domestic policy, there is a stark contrast in the messaging and vision for LGBTQ folks, women, and black communities.

      I hope many in my circle see this, but I have had conversations with self described communists who don’t care at all about minorities. My takeaway was they became communist when they learned they could guillotine people.

        Problem is not even LGBTQ+ people, nor women, nor black people have a real big difference between Biden or Trump. Because at best, Biden is no worse than Trump.

        So have I, and from the little conversation I’ve had with the few of them it was quick to realize they are not communists, but posers, reactionaries and people who’ve read to little and jumped only on the aesthetics wagon.

        My takeaway was they became communist when they learned they could guillotine people.

        Those fuckers are the worst. A communist outright glorifying violence, compared to one understanding it’s need is not my comrade.

            The border bill, roe v wade, trans people losing rights, book bans, drag queen bans (iirc), support for isreal and condemnation for the icc, fucking up the pandemic, and constant loss of purchasing power by working class americans

            I’m sorry but the US is fucked to hell and back and I’m thankful everyday for not having been born there.

            there are plenty „self described communists” who dont give a shit about minorities, ive seen plenty even here in poland, hell i know of „self described communists” who are „against hamas”

            and ive seen people who call themselves „communists” who act and say things no different from reactionaries

            usually we get rid of those fucks really quickly but theses are not „made-tf-up” talknig points of things „that dont exist”

            they are fringe and very little of the m but i had my fair share of experiences with such losers irl and god do they fucking suck

            thats why i dont really like how the meme is too simplistic and could be taken as putting lgbtq people next to imperialist forces, and i know yogthos means through this meme that biden only pretends to care but that because i know yogthos

        There are those who co-opt, historically. And in modern day, in the US, there’s patsoc MAGA communists (though I’m not sure how much they actually exist beyond online bullshitting).

        But I would also ask what you mean by “don’t care at all about minorities,” like if they have actually expressed such things to you and in what way, or if you’re inferring that from something and from what. Because sometimes there are disagreements on what is actually going to make a difference and that is taken as a lack of interest in caring what happens, in bad faith. For example, democrats in the US who shame people on “the left” for not supporting their blue ghoul because the red ghoul might get in, citing that their disinterest in validating the blue ghoul as a candidate means they don’t care about XYZ issue minorities have that the blue ghoul pays lip service to.
