I've gone on record saying that Mewgenics is, in a lot of ways, a sequel to The Binding of Isaac, but not in any of the traditional ways. This confuses many. So, I'm going to attempt to break down why, in many ways, Mew is a successor to Isaac and the things I think I failed at with Isaac that I'm improving upon with Mewgenics!

          Ohh man, you have a treasure trove of content ahead of you if you like. He played isaac daily for almost a decade, starting on the flash version.

          There are literally thousands of episodes of astute, off the cuff commentary about whatever while he did runs. Markiplier even credited a guide he wrote about streaming to be a big part of why he got started.

          Dude doesn’t play isaac anymore, but if you enjoy daily, mundane bullshit discussed in an entertaining way, you’ll likely enjoy his work.

            Oh wow what an OG, I admire his dedication. I have seen so much Isaac runs that I have been desensitized from it a bit, but thank you for your recommendation, lemming.

    I played around 300h of Binding of Isaac and normally would be hyped to learn about a new BOI related game… but Legend of Bumbo was a real turd IMO so I am gonna wait until this is on sale or something.

      I remember being so excited for lob because I thought if it as least half as good as BOI Id be happy. It wasn’t. Upon arrival even a lot of basic sounds we’re missing? Might be better now idk it’s been forever since I checked
