Genuine question, does that hurt the content creator? Does the sponsor know if people skipped watching that?
I mean if intrusive ad revenue goes down imo it’s not a problem. In the case of an 80’s movie on YouTube posted by some dude I don’t think Rowdy Roddy Piper is gonna get any of your proceeds towards his cancer treatments anyhow (he’s dead).
