    Can anyone with a technical background explain why this is big if true?

      Some quick research suggests it has 7-8% more power density than the best modern lithium batteries while using less rare earth metals (probably not by a huge degree but its something) and being less prone to exploding.

      Yeah, that’s a really good density. My bike stores about that amount and it takes 5kg or so, just a quick guesstimate.
