😐
There is one question that comes to my mind… Why?
Kids are easy money. Kids also love Minecraft. Really, I’m surprised it took them this long.
It took them about a decade after it had been relevant to make a Borderlands movie. I’m not surprised it took this long.
Hollywood is slow as fuck.
Because if a Chris Pratt Mario movie can make over a billion dollars at the box office, and a Lego movie can make half a billion at the box office, someone is going to try to make a buck with a movie based on video game legos.
Does it look good? No
Does it seem creative? No
Does it look funny? Also No
Will I have to see this in this cinema with my kids because they love minecraft and I’m a push over? Very much yes.
The title should be “The Minecraft Movie” because it’s the only that’s ever gonna get made.
