The U.N. General Assembly strongly supported a nonbinding Palestinian resolution Wednesday demanding that Israel end its “unlawful presence” in Gaza and the occupied West Bank within a year

The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution demanding that Israel comply with the ruling of the UN court and withdraw from the occupied territory of Palestine.

The resolution received 124 votes in favor, while 43 countries abstained and Israel, the United States and 12 others voted no.

    At the very least this shows that overall the majority of representatives of countries still can make decent decisions. Even if the UN is mostly toothless.
