U.S. version of the venerable British news/comedy show, #HIGNFY.
I’m not sure what this clip is. I think it’s from the first show - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXiu_xQRM2s
I only watched a few seconds here or there. It seemed terrible. And it’s one of those shows where the guests try to juice the jokes by laughing themselves even if that shit is 1,000 miles away from being funny.
It felt like one of those fake talk shows the main character in a film puts on in the background that’s meant to be a social commentary on how empty, mindless and boring TV is.
Got to 2:55 before I asked myself how are these losers considered funny?
And I don’t understand the appeal of any form of fake laughter. A laugh track is bad enough but watching people pretend to laugh at each other’s jokes is like something I imagine plays in Hell 24/7.
I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
Michael Ian Black, Anderson Cooper and Wolf Blitzer reenacting Stella bits would be pretty funny.
Oh lord
🤮
