A couple of days ago Mesa userspace drivers has been backported to 24.2.2 (the default is 22.3.6). With the backport kernel 6.10 it provides a fairly up-to-date graphics stack for non-nvidia users too. Also every Debian based distro like LMDE can now benefit it, even without flatpaks.
