Give it a few more decades and your mom will ask how to get free food as well
My mom: You know where I can get some bread?
Me:
This is just beautiful.
朱门酒肉臭,路有冻死骨。
Behind the vermilion gates meat and wine go to waste while out on the road lie the bones of the frozen.
“a Netflix”
Me when I try to talk about “Aldi” and say “Aldees” instead.
Every single time I pass Aldi I reflexively say “Aldeez nuts”
Chipolte
Gonna run to krogers real quick
Nintendo Playstation vibes
Yea my boomer-ass parents are sick of everything being subscription and have turned to me to pirate stuff for them, makes me happy
Pirate something for them and they’ll sail for a day. Teach them to pirate and they’ll sail for life.
i’ve tried to teach them before but it just doesn’t stick, and im the one who has a vpn so myeh.
my mom clicks on shady links all the time and won’t let me install ubo on her computer smh

Your mom is really playing with fire, and you should make it clear to her. Say the FBI recommends installing ad blockers or something (which they actually do lol)
do you have like a source on that, i’d appreciate it
she’s unfortunately got the “you can’t know more than me because i saw you in diapers” brain virus
I was just goofin. You don’t have to tell me. My father took his computer to geek squad because he wanted stuff put onto a flash drive.
install it behind her back, complete with changing firefox icon to chrome’s.
you will notice she will click shady links much less.
Spoken like someone who has never had to clean a million+ viruses off an elderly relative’s pc
Netflix? No… but how about everything instead?
Hi,
Can someone reply to my comment with a Pig Poop Balls image?
as a teen I would tell my dad that I was morally obligated to break the law if the law was wrong, but I did get in trouble whenever we got DMCA notices so I had to get smart about it or risk getting grounded.
When I was a kid, my dad pirated cable with one of those bootleg tuner boxes. It even had pay per view, IIRC. So it was pretty dope teaching him how to torrent. Thanks pops.
Sounds like something about material conditions…
I taught my parents how to torrent in the mid 2000s. They were in board pretty quick with napster and other p2p so it wasn’t hard to explain. My dad technically has a degree in computer programming but that was punch cards and he didn’t get a job doing anything with computers so he didn’t keep up more than casually, but he knows how they work fundamentally and that is a huge boost in starting point. He still thinks they’re made of magic and capable if doing things on their own
