Someone pointed out (possible) parallels to Punks complaints, in which when Punk got injured he expected AEW to take care of it in the same way WWE would (that being WWE having doctors on payroll that they work with and refer people to, thus taking care of the whole process every step of the way). AEW doesn’t have doctors on payroll for them to deal with (just their backstage medics), and if wrestlers have an injury they need to arrange getting looked at by doctors of their choice and submit the expense to AEW for them to pay.

It’s possible Rey didn’t know how it works and maybe expected AEW to do the whole job for him (which In fairness AEW should at this point with their size) and went without treatment longer than he normally should have, but thats just conjecture so far.

That’s kind of what I’m assuming otherwise I would expect a lot more complaints. Granted a lot of AEW is still Indy wrestlers that are probably use to hoping to at least be paid at the end of the night lol

Honestly 99% of AEW’s problems over the years almost always turn out to be communication issues. Uusually on Tony, HR, or just the company in general. Someone not talking to someone, someone not listening to someone, someone talking to the wrong person, someone not listening to what someones saying, someone not passing along info, etc etc.

          Like high school lol.
