Former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is done at President Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) initiative, and is expected to launch a campaign for Ohio governor early next week

I’m really curious to see how he does. I can’t imagine anybody liking this abrasive know-it-all quasi-billionaire who just spent the last few months suckling on the MAGA teat. Not to mention, he’s probably not white enough for a lot of voters.

Rumor had it that Vivek had trouble getting along with people at DOGE, I would not be shocked if Elon is the one who caused the relational problems there. He doesn’t handle getting challenged very well.

As a Vivek fan, I think he’d be far more useful as the governor of Ohio than as a leader of DOGE anyways. I hear that DOGE is generally toothless, so it does appear to be a kiddie table of sorts.

It’s true. I think he has some good idea. See, I don’t just judge someone just based no their party. I base it on what they do and their integrity. I’m socialist, but I still think Vivek had some good ideas.

              Thanks!

Many things. That he supports energy, the family, borders, limited government, opposes gender theory, entangling ourselves necessarily in international conflicts, etc. There’s a lot to like. He’s a true conservative in a way that many modern Republicans, including Trump, are not.

In supporting energy, one of his flagship policies was promoting domestic energy production. It’s not a policy unique to Vivek, to be fair, but I like it.

In supporting the family, Vivek is a big fan of policies that increase parental rights and give parents flexibility when raising their children. For example, he supports school choice.
