Do you think it’s good that SpaceX might end up facing competition?
i guess. theyre about even with nasa circa 1972. lets see how long it takes them to catch up to the capability of spacex and the inherent efficiencies of re-useability. is that another 5 years? spacex will be performing daily launches by then and likely have a much larger vehicle to boot.
i dont like either of these companies, but blue origin is largely still behind.
Blue origin hasn’t blown up billions of dollars worth of rockets to “test” their vehicles.
SpaceX hasn’t delivered an ounce to orbit with Starship, so we can’t say anything about how efficient reusability in heavy lift rockets is.
The Falcon nine is impressive, but it’s not fully reusable, even though it was planned to be from the start.
