I’m going to choose to believe that, my brain refuses to compute this as real without an aneurysm

Too articulated to be real. If this were written like a Trump tweet* it would be more realistic. *more: SAD! ALL CAPS! misspelings and run on rambling

For real, every time they post something it feels like they’re trying to hit a word count for a paper they are over-due for.

It’s like they pull up ChatCCP at 11:38pm the night it’s due and tell it to write them a 2000-word essay about “how the didactic materialism of imperial hegemony irrevocably leads to bourgeois exploitation of the Global South”.

It’s posturing, generally. Like Jordan Peterson fans. “Verbosity = intelligence = correct”. They so very desperately want to be taken seriously.

Or like listening to a corporate executive’s speech, where they twist themselves in knots to use all the current buzzwords. “Dialectical analysis,” check. “Progressive role,” check. “Material conditions,” check. “Critical support,” check. “Something something Nazis,” check.

It kinda makes sense for a group that’s characterized by so aggressively ignoring the principle of parsimony. Like they really need to fight against obvious logic and add layers of nonsense explanations to arrive where they do.

I blame this on Ulysses Grant. As a general and then as a president, Grant should have spat on Lee’s face and decimated the south, not gone easy on them. The South and anyone with this poster’s views should have been stamped out and executed

Grant all but crushed the South, destroying the first KKK and implementing the first anti-segregation laws. It’s after Grant’s presidency things went downhill.
