My first bike, bought it 5 years ago. Had only ridden little 50cc scooters before that.

It’s a good looking machine. And I like harley alternatives for cruiser styles. How do you like it? How the handling?

I have a Bolt too! It’s my first bike and I love riding it so much. I’ve added a windshield, passenger pegs, and sissy bar. I think next I wanna add some saddle bags.

What windshield did you go with? I’ve been eyeing the slupstreamer. I think a sissy bar would be nice to strap my bag to as well. I just have the small one now that straps to the passenger seat.

Been eyeing a new seat too

Just something I got off Amazon. It’s smoked so it matches me bike. I have a photo of it that I just posted. I was only able to upload it in the smallest format so it’s a little blurry. It tends to wiggle a lot so I think I need some spacers to reduce the play. The sissy bar i have has a shelf on the back so it would definitely be able have a bag strapped to it. Yeah the seat isn’t the most comfortable. I increased the tension on my suspension and it made the seat a little more uncomfortable so I think it would be nice to upgrade that, but I think the seats are pretty expensive.

Looks nice. What sissy bar did you get? What pipes are those too?

I was torn between a saddleman, mustang, and corbin seat. They are all $300+ though

I got this one. It was one of the few for under $100. https://a.co/d/38eKbUn the first owner put a cobra exhaust and forward controls, I love how deep and throaty the exhaust sounds. I would have to say just by looking at them the Corbin and the saddleman look the most comfortable but it’s hard to say without seeing them in person.

Nice! Thanks for the rec. I talked to my local shop and they said they could order both for me and let me try before buying, but I still can’t really justify the price. Such an expensive hobby

Oh that’s nice of them! I’ll have to do that when I want to get a new seat. Haha yeah it definitely not cheap to ride but it is still worth every penny.

They are great guys. Good locally owned shop. Bought my scooter from them when they were working out of a shed in the owners back yard. They did all of the work/maintenance on that, and they are the only shop that works on my bike. I don’t go in there often, but every time I do they remember by name, my bike, etc.

I like bikes that can do street and dirt so my style is dual sport and ADV. I can’t be trusted with sport bikes because my wrist has a mind of its own and I’ll probably end up dead. Cruisers are comfortable and great on the highway but they don’t excite me in the twisties and they typically don’t do dirt very well.

Ive ridden a few cruisers (VTX 1300 and 1800, Street Glide, and a Sportster) and they were great bikes (Well not the Sportster) but they didn’t excite me in the way that other bikes do.

Two wheels is two wheels so as long as you enjoy it I’m happy for you!

You ever look at the SCR950? Its essentially the bolt, but with a scrambler style.

          SCR950 motorcycle

Uses the same frame and engine, but different shocks and seat.
