It’s funny that they say that, as if they can really do anything about us and others talking about them.
All they can do is shut us out, they can’t shut us up.
Well obviously they haven’t been too sucessful otherwise we wouldn’t still be talking about them. Ultimately without the ability to physically stop us from posting they won’t be able to effectively shut us up, only attempt to dissuade us.
They’ve kind of shot themselves in the foot though. I’m sure they want to do that but they have so many communities that are on the platform that don’t really prescribe to their core philosophy that they receive huge backlash if they actually did that.
I actually wish they would try it, as it would be really funny.

They can certainly shut us up. There’s been a few attempts on this community before. Doxxing, ddosing, bots, spam, whole lot of it–rather annoying.
