A cash grab, most likely. Modern creatives have become so creatively bankrupt that they resort to making skinwalkers that look like old beloved franchises just to ruin the whole feanchise with the next worst entry in the franchise.
I don’t disagree with creative crappiness (look at The Witcher TV show), but I’ll be hopefull that it’s good!
