At this point the story is written, can we get a studio to pick up the rights and remake it :(

It’s a crime they lost the voice recordings.
I would be ok with this story being retold with the current cast of Strange new worlds…
It looks like they lost a lot of the script too.
Sounds like any attempt to do this today could only end in disappointment.
