The term “Eco Graffiti” calls to mind ideas of un-invited street art, covert installations, and forms of silent protest. These all still hold true in reality of course, but more and more people are using eco Art to decorate their own businesses and homes. Artists are getting commissioned to produce these works, rather than getting fined and jailed for them.

I honestly would love to see this as a guerrilla movement. I’m not huge on vandalism, but I’m imagining people using adhesive to stick grass seeds to the sides of walls and train cars in patterns in the dead of night.
Between the 2 factions (covert and overt), we seem to be covering a lot so far! There aren’t many doing the covert, just a few in large cities, but hopefully the mainstream acceptance will increase that, as well. I actually just realized a (completely unrelated) firm has bought the URL ecograffiti.com. …Not sure how I feel about that, exactly, but trying to stay positive. It would be much better if that firm actually DID eco-graffiti, but oh well.
