With name so close to “Banking-Fraud” it almost feels like destiny.

I prefer one of the guys behind Brexit, Aaron Banks. I Run Banks.

That was certainly the most on-the-nose one of these and what I was reminded of in this case.

And he does kind of look like a Fried Bankman with the electrified hair and all…

      …kind of a stretch.

Not to defend the guy because he seems awful, but a century is just absurd. There’s no way I’m going to be thinking in ~50 years’ time, “damn, I’m glad 80-year-old Sam Bankman-Fried is off the streets, I wouldn’t feel safe if he were free”. It just seems disproportionately high.

Then you don’t understand the scale of what it is this guy did. The lives he’s ruined. The money he has cost the tax payers. The hyper inflation he has helped put into motion for all Americans, and allys. You blame oil prices or immigrants or whatever for everything going to shit and getting expensive. No. It’s people like this and the corrupt politicians that enables this shit.

Rich people lost money making risky investments in very legally questionable assets. It cant ever be their fault for losing money.

If rich people aren’t hurt, no justice is likely to be seen.

TONS of crypto and NFT scams that scammed tons of money. They don’t go to prison because they mostly targeted normal people.
