That’s the big factor. The second factor is that nobody gives a shit about Jon Stewart and nobody watched his new show, this isn’t 1999.
Of course it was and politicians completely understand why. In business, like in politics, you “dance with the one who brung ya.”
Who do politicians support special interest? It’s because special interest dumps money into their campaigns and expects something in return, otherwise they back your opponent.
China is essential to Apple’s supply chain and is worth billions to the company. Jon’s show is a loss leader for Apple TV+ or whatever it’s called. If Jon wants to criticize China, it makes complete business sense for Apple to tell him to do it elsewhere.
I definitely want my representatives looking into this. The homeless, inflation and cost of living can wait.
As everyone knows, they only have time to look into 1 issue per term.
