It literally says the UK said no. Besides, the israel link is barely a headline and no one knows who proposed it. The article is about how the money could be spent in Ukraine or beyond Ukraine in order to help Ukrainians and why it hasn’t yet.

Sounds like everyone involved is desperate not to release that money. Maybe it’ll happen once there’s a resolution to the conflict since one of the issues seems to be Abramovich not wishing to come across as pro- Ukraine in Russia.

Also, the article mentions his parents and family were from Lithuania? I thought he had a Russian father and a Ukrainian mother?

    Who knew…

Maybe a certain group waited to pull this off.

2B is crazy amount, no matter from which part of Israel you want to censor everyone and push your narrative.

To the place where he bought a passport to back in the day. Just a way to get the money back to him so once relations with Russia normalise in a year or two the UK can get better trade agreements.

Even ignoring the morality of this, it makes far more sense to send it to Ukraine since they are suffering under the government who Abramovich made his money doing business with.

Send it to Ukraine you cunts.
