Reminds of the app I bought for the OG A7 for me to transfer photos to my phone or use it as a remote.
For a dollar, you can buy a marker and put them on yourself.
For about $10 you could print a grid on transparent adhesive film and attach it to the LCD
For the price of some time, you can wait until someone hacks the system and enables this feature.
For $150 you can… wait
What a kick to the balls of their consumers
Do Sony’s cameras have 1:2.39 (or 2.35) or 21:9 gridlines by default?
I wonder if there are any field monitors that support this. I feel that the primary customer for this feature would be those with a fair bit of external equipment anyway.
Most good field monitors have options, but gridlines has been pretty basic, for I would say the last 10 years to be charging people for a GUI interface.
The camera body alone is $2499, apparently not a price point to have this feature by default.
Sharpie and ruler will do just fine.
