In fact, in some circles that’s going to be seen as a signal of strength and if we don’t learn our lessons from the rise of Trump we are going to get more where that came from, good and hard
He’s running as a Democrat. If he splits off and runs as third party after losing the primary, Democrats need to know that he’s a crazy antivaxx bigot so he won’t get otherwise uninformed Democrats’ votes and won’t be a spoiler against Democrats. Plus, if he runs as third party and it’s obvious that he’s a crazy antivaxx bigot, he can be a spoiler against Republicans, since crazy antivaxx bigots are a vital constituency within the Republican Party.
