    Two hours? The people I’ve seen spend days posting 50+ comments each day in an argument.

    I started pointing out how terminally online these people are and it always strikes a nerve with em. Usually pointing out their average post per hour amount

        But you could make better use of your time than arguing with strangers online. I watched Breaking Bad when I had a work-from-home job, and that’s objectively better, especially if you’d otherwise be arguing on twitter and sharing conspiracy theories and bigotry (“spend the next two hours arguing with me about some stuff i made up”).

      Bluesky recently opened up their site so you don’t have to be signed in. That will probably affect post visibility

          Yeah, invite-only isn’t exactly a proven method for a social network. It was good at building hype say, 18 years ago.

            it works wonderfully if you want a small tight knit community, but not for something that aims to replace something on the scale of twitter (without something extra like federation, which is still not ready in bsky/atproto)
