Tldr: the same tired arguments against using apple products like “walled garden/closed system” and “lack of options” and “price”.

The real story here is how did this person just realize this is Apple? At this point you know when you get apple products, you get superior quality, limited flexibility, better stability, and you pay a premium for it.
