Chinese travelers are opting to travel domestically or regionally instead of taking long-haul international flights. Domestic flight volume has skyrocketed, domestic HSR volume has exceeded pre-pandemic levels, and that’s come at the cost of international travel.
Unfortunately, it’s a much needed correction.
This is the vaguest comment ever. Are you happy about the reduction of international flights? Are you suggesting people should stay in their own countries? Or just Chinese tourists?

People always think of the money! Let’s worry about finding the tourists and bring them back to their families for now!
Headlines like that are weird and I think a bad way of using the English language. Loss of potential revenue is not the same as a cost.
And when they were out and about, all anyone kept talking about was how rude they were - make up your minds!
