Hm I thought I commented on this but apparently it didn’t go through damn.
This exceeds my expectations, which were extremely low. I know it’s just a trailer, but still. It gave me the feels.
However it turns out, lfg. If it’s bad, maybe it’ll be so bad it’s good. Lol.
I think the story sort of holds its own, and it comes down to execution and how they streamline the narrative. I’m really curious on how the pacing will be.
(Obviously cg gum gum is never gonna look right, but whatever, it’s serviceable)

As someone who has never watched One Piece, this looks pretty great. Maybe I should give the original a try.
I’m really surprised I liked the look of that, actors, CGI, general production looks really well put together. Netflix might actually pull this one off amongst all their boner moves recently
Ehhh I don’t know, people said the same thing when Cowboy Bebop was teased. It all looked good enough until the show actually dropped.
Agreed on all counts, I’m just trying to be more positive these days lol
