IDK about the steam deck. FTL works best with keyboard shortcuts and pretty much requires a mouse or touch screen capability

3·16 days agoIf anything, politicians should earn less so those motivated by money are discouraged and so that they are themselves going to feel the consequences of the decisions they make for ordinary people.
There are USA states that pay local legislators peanuts for pay, New Hampshire paying only $100 a year, and that drives only rich people to run for those offices

I have a question about the orange book involving brain worms
brain worm stuff and I guess spoilers for the plot
I know a little bit about 4chan tttt and general internet trans brain worms but not much, and I try to avoid learning about these things even if it’s to debunk them
I read the Wikipedia summary of the plot and I see it involves discussion and debunking of AGP and controversial trans “researchers”
If staying away from brain worm stuff is important to me should I avoid the book?
They say “is mean is” when Jesus says “this is my body” but I think that’s reductive. You think “is” just fell out of a coconut tree? There’s context that’s far more important than splitting hairs on the semantics of “is” being a definitive statement. The Bible wasn’t even written in freaking English! (moot point if you believe your preferred bible was divinely inspired in its writing). Jesus says that eating of the blood and body is signing onto the new covenant then states "I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.” He says two verses later that its wine! Its wine people!
