Twenty years of satellite data show that a stretch of coastal desert extending south from Peru’s north and into Chile is getting greener, but this is not good news.
Whilst I appreciate it’s a bad sign in that it is a clear sign of climate change, and what the climate gives in one respect it takes in another.
But it is also fascinating to see a biome expand back in to desert.
