    How are you going to shoot down a satellite moving at 17,000 miles an hour at a distance of 200 miles up. And this is just the low earth orbit satellites. Some satellites are 23,000 miles up.

    More so, do you really want to start a tit for tat arrangement where other countries actively look towards shooting your satellites down?
