Washington Capitals C Nicklas Backstrom is unlikely to return to play this season as he deals with ongoing issues with his surgically repaired left hip, general manager Brian MacLellan said Monday.

    Yeah he’s done. Atleast that’s likely what the team thinks. Might take him a little time to come around to it though.
