Neat, there’s a second epilogue update in the game that I can’t get past the second level.
If you want to experience more of the game there are plenty of workshop mods that make it easier.
Thanks for this! I hadn’t considered that. I would be so happy if there was a health Regen function, hopefully I can find one in the workshop and enjoy the game! I’ve always wanted to, but it’s too high of pressure
I personally had a lot of luck save-scumming by savequitting the game and copying the files elsewhere at every holy mountain. (there are scripts floating around that make this easier) Then when I died, I could revisit that area without risking much progress, and it made the game much more fun while I tried to scale the truly formidable learning curve.
Nowadays I feel much more comfortable just doing normal runs, so I guess I ‘graduated’ lol, some understanding of the wand-building goes wayyyyy further than I expected.
I got a mod that respawns you at the last shrine you activated. It’s really nice.
Two recommendations:
wand bag - so that you can hold every wand you find and figure out how to build mega wands since you have every spell you’ve seen available.
mini map - so you can see where hidden hearts are so that you can have a decent amount of health by the time you get to the second/third levels.
My thoughts exactly
Woah what the heck?! I had no idea there was another content update coming for Noita!
Time to turn my hair grey as I get merced in the Snowy Depths for the 286th time again!
Epilogue 2, somebody define epilogue for us
Noita: Epilogue: Epilogue
The devs openly stated they were done working on the game and then apparently changed their minds. I’m so happy they did!
Post post scriptum…
I just beat the game after 360ish loses. It was a run I could have started going back up the mountain but since I had never won before I figured I should just roll the credits.
Most intimidatingly vast game in my library just got bigger. What a lovely, lovely day!
Any tips on how to play this on steam deck? I tried to play it a while ago and the controls seemed weird.
If you’re used to mouse and keyboard, controller layout is weird. You no longer have so much control over how much force you throw things like potions with, and moving/aiming are a lot less precise with a joystick. Just gotta get used to it if you want to play on mobile, unfortunately.
That’s really good information to know. I just got my Deck and wanted to play Noita for a while now. Thank you for answering a question I never thought to ask.
I finally beat my first runs on the deck. It’s gets much easier, just find a mouse and keyboard setup
I personally used the trackpad as mouse input. Was much better than using left stick for me.
I have been monkeying around because by default the fastest was low and making it feel odd
I hope this stops the flicker
