Keep in mind, I’m saying he’s mid tier. Trump had both house and senate when he was first elected and could barely get anything done. He certainly was able to destroy the Supreme Court (along with women’s rights) and cut taxes on the wealthy with that.
I think a lot of the negatives being assigned to Biden are not even his fault. They are unfortunate situations that he has had to react to, and has done so as good if not better than any other president would have.
Inflation? No way can you consider this his fault. If anything, Trump cutting corporate end executive taxes has contributed more to the inflation.
Ukraine? It’s an unfortunate situation started by Putin invading one of our allies. Not Biden’s fault. Our support in Ukraine has been bipartisan in addition to being relatively minor in cost. Somebody like Bush would have sent American troops to die. Biden has kept our support merely financial. And we aren’t the only country supporting them.
Israel? Another unfortunate situation that can’t be blamed on Biden. A country we have been giving bipartisan support to for decades has finally snapped and used that support for evil (as we all suspected it would the whole time). Even Trump contributed by moving the US embassy to Jerusalem. While Biden has contributed, he is a very minor part of this situation and can only react to it.
As for the accomplishments he made so far with only a majority senate and a hostile house. Here’s a partial list. The optimist in me says when he has control of the house and senate, he may accomplish actual progressive legislation. Maybe some Supreme Court justices will die retire.
Edit: I forgot that Biden started his term with both senate and house in Democratic control. I was wrong to imply this was different from Trump’s presidency.

I mean, he does a pretty good job of outlining his first term major accomplishments right on his website…https://joebiden.com/accomplishments/
Just like Trump has a manifesto of the evil shit he wants to do called Project 2025 on his.
