Hi all. Rooting for non-corporate solution to win out so hope momentum keeps going!
Eventually I joined… Took about 10-15 minutes. Seems to be quite difficult to join a community on one instance from another. I guess it’s because the federated nature, plus spike in usage today.
There’s an !Edinburgh on feddit.uk now too. Yeah gonna take a while for the instance stuff to shake out but doesn’t seem too complicated.
