Quote from announcement post:
Morning all,
As the July deadline approaches I’ve been considering working on Sync for Lemmy.
So I thought I’d start by trying to gauge interest and start a general discussion.
Cheers,

Update #1 from u/ljdawson:
Ok looks like this is happening.
Time for a new subreddit here, more to follow on Lemmy shortly:
https://reddit.com/r/SyncforLemmy
Update #2 from u/ljdawson with an official lemmy community:
Yup that was me earlier!
Fledgling community over at https://lemmy.ml/c/syncforlemmy too although it’s not official.Edit: !syncforlemmy@lemmy.world official one modded by ljdawsom himself.
I believe the “official” community is at https://lemmy.world/c/syncforlemmy
This the one issue I have with Lemmy, which one is the right one?
In my view this is hardly different than someone making r/LemmySyncApp when the official is r/SyncForLemmy. You just have to check both and see who the mods are and whether they have official looking pinned posts. There’s no silver bullet - it ties into the larger digital identity and authenticity problems that people have been trying to solve for online identities since forever.
That makes sense, thank you.
