I think crushing the GKMC truck is kinda corny and too on the nose, but props to Drake for putting out a response so quickly, this is probably the hardest I’ve ever heard Drake go honestly who knows if it was ghost written or AI but it’s genuinely impressive coming from him. Drake also claims Kendrick abused his wife? This isn’t good, but he needs to show receipts because he could just be talking shit, the same way he claims one of his kids is someone else’s which, who cares but he’s releasing really sensitive info which may or may not hold weight. You can argue that Kanye and Taylor Swift’s beef was originally organic but became drawn out and artificial throughout the decade, but this is beyond musical abilities and sales at this point. You don’t call another man a pedophile sex trafficker or abuser because some manager told you so.
Is it beneficial? Yes. But this is happening during R Kelly and Diddy’s trials. I can’t imagine their labels are thrilled about this information getting out even if they’re making bank because they’re at risk of having to drop them if the allegations prove to be true. But they’re also stuck in a conundrum because they can’t tell the two to stop and make up because that’ll ruin their images and sales as well.
