    I’m really upset that your comment is so spot on.

    Those pieces of genuine shit have way too much power and influence. I wish things like electric/hybrid cars and electric heat pumps were affordable. It pisses me off those douchebags get money everytime I go to work or heat my home.

      Trust me … me too!

      Heat pumps are especially ridiculous because their installation costs are insane when in actuality they’re mostly the same installation process as Central Air with minimal extra work required, but they cost 10x more just for the installation alone, let alone the units themselves

      I’m eyeing a heat pump water heater though, when our current one dies (which hopefully won’t be too soon).

        Yeah the heat pump expense is ridiculous! My spouse and I are attempting to save to get rid of our oil furnace, but I’m unsure if we’ll ever be able to afford it. It’s pretty demoralizing tbh.

        I wish you luck with your water heater though! Hope when it needs replacing you are in a good position to make the switch
