      The claims about price are sus too, for all the EVs mentioned. The actual price of Tesla’s cheapest Model 3 starts around $45k, so the author’s claim that you can buy a Model Y for $34k throws the veracity of the entire article into question.

        That’s China prices. Chinese government artificially holds their currency low, hence everything is cheaper there when expressed in USD.

      It’s definitely going to be a lot slower. But the Chinese market doesn’t care much about things like that.

        It probably depends on a segment you are trying to address Tesla always positioned itself as high performance car.
