I’m currently following Linux & Open Source News from The Linux Experiment, and I know others like Destination Linux that I don’t like it at all, can someone suggest me some good podcasts? It fine to me if they just talk technical things or curious things, but I want to learn more things about Linux.
Jupiter Broadcasting has several podcasts that are really good. Just subscribe to the “all shows” feed. Late Night Linux is similar - a family of shows, just pick up the all shows feed.
I do enjoy a Late Night Linux episode from time to time. Not too heavy going, nor are the episodes that long.
I listen to these, have tried a lot of different ones but as pointed out by another comment JupiterBroadcasting keeps the highest standard when it comes to a quality news and entertainment. They’re really fun to listen to and cover everything relevant in the Linux world. I marked them as JB.
JupiterBroadcasting Family:
- Linux Unplugged, this is the best one imo.
- Linux Lads (general Linux)
- Linux After Dark (general Linux)
- Linux Downtime (general Linux)
- Linux Matters (general Linux)
- Late Night Linux (general Linux)
- 2.5 Admins (mostly network and security)
- Selfhosted (also Linux, but mostly about self hosting apps and the process of it)
- Hybrid Cloud Show (brand new cloud show)
Other ones:
- Linux + Open Source News, by TLE
- The Homelab Show
- The self-host cast
Not strictly Linux, but tech and or security related ones:
- Coder Radio
- Traceroute
- Darknet Diaries
- Changelog
I’m part of Linux User Space. We do history deep-dives and a whole lot of other Linux content. Most recently was Xz and LXDE/LXQt. We even have our own Lemmy instance :)
