The video I linked to this post is titled How I Hacked Pokémon Emerald to make Pokémon walk with you. It’s quite interesting if you are into ROM hacking and it’s one of the things that made me think of this.

I just started getting back into Pokemon after playing a bit of Yellow and Crystal when I was a kid and I am wondering what are some Pokemon ROM hacks that add QoL features? Maybe some that improve the overall flow of game play or add little things to make the game more fun?

I mentioned staying vanilla because I am not looking for fake Pokemon or something radically different like Pokemon Snakewood for example. Back ported Pokémon would be neat though.

I saw some lists online but some were dated or didn’t focus on what I am looking for.
