Oh, quadruple-digit killcount! Haven’t seen that since Bakhmut! (Have missed a few of these posts switching to Kbin) With any luck that means that Ukraine has punched into somewhere that isn’t being covered with artillery. Could be big.
There is heavy fighting on two fronts. Russians are trying to push back around Bakhmut, and Ukraine is pushing in the south. Twice the intense fighting, twice the carnage. Unfortunately, likely on both sides. Signs point to heavier losses and less success for the rushists.
4 out of 35 brigades are engaging in the counter-offensive at the moment. Between the dam being blown and mass Ka-52 deployment in the south it’s likely we’ll have to wait for the all out offensive. Just be patient, it WILL come by end of the summer.
