    Sounds like someone who has no clue about the inner workings and no desire to learn about them is trying to appeal to my emotions.

      I think I agree to your sentiment, but do you mean the inner workings of valve as a company or of how bot detection works or something else completely?

      I’m a TF2 fan and signed the petition, but I generally agree - this is a bit of a miss from Uncle Dane.

      The bot problem is very, very difficult to solve, and the idea that Deadlock is somehow taking resources away from fixing the bot crisis… yeah right. Valve is painfully aware of how bots ruin their current (and future) games, and will be sinking untold amounts of money into R&D to fix it once and for all.
