I’m heading to Cuba this summer, pretty cheap to get to from the US
I really want to go but I’ll have to fly to the opposite side of the globe. Besides being expensive as fuck I also worry that when I go I won’t get the full experience I can get, it would be nice if I were social enough (and knew a lot of Cuban) so that I can really get a taste of the culture while I’m there.
Yeah it sucks. I wanna go to China but similar issues (super expensive tickets to the other side of the planet and couldn’t really immerse in culture.)
damn I’m jealous.
I’d be really cool if they could blow up a couple of US ships and free the embargo while they’re at it
