I just made a story on Instagram about filtering and editing and alluded to who I was talking about. About 500 of my 600 Instagram people follow TBP. 🤢a good friend wrote me and basically called me a liar because ‘she looks just like how she did in the SI show’. But clearly my friend has not watched many stories from TBP because there’s a clear discrepancy from HER stories 90% of the time to how real photos look of her. I explained that TBP picks and chooses when she filters heavily and when she tones down the filtering so she appears more normal. But my friend gave the ‘ hmm ok’ response and then moved on to something else. It’s clear she doesn’t believe me and that feels like sh*t. How do you guys deal with this sort of thing?

You can’t make someone see what they don’t want to see but you’ve planted a seed and maybe it will grow as she keeps watching her stories.

It’s frustrating when people can’t see what we do, especially when we know that what we are seeing is the actual truth. Its valid to be upset about that - especially when you feel judged, for simply seeing the truth! It’s why what we do here is so important. As another member said, you’ve planted the seed and hopefully with time they will see the light.
