I like what they have done, but it also breaks my heart that he felt like he couldn’t come out. I wish nobody had to struggle like this in the dark.
The silver lining is that he had 25 years with the love of his life, which I’m glad he had. I want a future where people don’t have to worry about coming out to their friends/family/society.
But this is not going to lift him up again.
It might if enough people believe hard enough.
“retirfed”: can we not proofread our articles in 2024? The number of first sentence typos these days is ridiculous. It’s especially bad when the article discusses something with some gravitas.
